Jenny Ross Makeup Artist's Top 5 Products in my Bridal Kit!

Hi everyone, Jenny here!

I want share with you some of my favourite products I just couldn't live without in my Makeup Kit!

Choosing five products was definitely not an easy task. Challenging to say the very least. I’m a big believer in multi-use products. I find it fascinating that the cream blush you’ve just applied to your cheeks can also be an eyeshadow and will blend out seamlessly.

Here are my top 5 products in my bridal kit and why I love them!

Embryollise Lait Creme Concentrate

An absolute staple in my kit and one I use on almost every bride and their bridal party. Everyone needs that boost of hydration first thing in the morning, no matter your skin type.

It’s super hydrating, sinks into skin beautifully without feeling thick or heavy and allows makeup to apply seamlessly on top. It’s the perfect pick me up to prep your skin before makeup, especially when the prosecco is already flowing!

The Balm Betty LouManizer

This bronzer is one I don’t hear many others mention in the industry. It is, in my opinion one of the best you can buy. Along with a few others in my kit this particular bronzer has always been a firm fave of mine. I wouldn’t recommend however if you prefer more of a matte finish (where my glowy gals at?).

It has a soft shimmer and applies so smoothly. If you’re going for a bronzed look all over, this also works perfectly as an eyeshadow for that sun-kissed bridal glow.

Nars Illuminator

Staying on the glow wagon, I couldn’t not mention a Nars product. The popular, classic blush shade 'Orgasm' but in a liquid form and an absolutely stunning finish.

I love this blended onto cheeks, or even as as a subtle shine on the eyes. Mixed with foundation will give you that effortless glow that radiates in photographs.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil

The most versatile eye pencil in my kit with so many different shades available and you can use it as a lip liner too!

I love how easily this blends out so you can do an easy smokey eye in no time, or blend out with a small pencil brush for the perfect smudged wing liner.

Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm

Another multi-purpose product! I always ensure this is applied to lips at the start of every makeup application to hydrate as much as possible. You can use this on lips, skin, cuticles and even your hair. If you’re not an everyday makeup-wearer this is beautiful when applied to the high points of your face to add a soft subtle and natural sheen to skin. I love mixing this with lipsticks as well to create a softer, more glossy look for those who prefer a more natural finish.

Speaking of lipsticks, that’s why we’re all here isn’t it? I absolutely love the idea of creating a bridal inspired lip range. To me the lips are one of the most underrated aspects of makeup but one of the most important. The right lip colour finishes off any look perfectly.

It’s a tough choice picking just one but if it was me personally, I’d have to go for Tie the Knot. I adore a more bronze toned lip, just beautiful for transitioning from day to night.

Thanks for coming over and sharing in my Top products!
