Just like choosing a wedding dress, there's not a 'one shade fits all'. Some like a light glow and some prefer it slightly darker. At Tan with Sam I am a master trained technician and therefore I know which colour will suit you and your skin tone perfectly to simply even out your skin, without making you orange and patchy. At your initial appointment I carry out a consultation and talk through the options available so there are no surprises.
It is important how skilled your chosen spray tan artist is, but believe it or not preparation is key when it comes to your spray tan being perfect. Upon booking your Tan with Sam, you are provided with an extensive list of prep & maintenance instructions to create the perfect blank canvas for your tan. This includes which order is best for booking your hair & beauty appointments for the big day, as your final tan appointment will be 2-3 days before the wedding. So use this as an excuse to be organised and then chill out before one of the best days of your life because it goes by in the blink of an eye!
Bridal trials are essential at Tan with Sam and it should be common practice with every Tan Artist. This allows us both to ensure we are happy with the result and we have the perfect shade for your big day.
For your trial I recommend booking your appointment for two days prior to your makeup trial and, or your bridal fitting to give you an idea of your look for the big day.
Tan with Sam was the first spray tan artist in Scotland to introduce the use of a clear tanning solution. This means there will be zero transfer onto your Wedding dress. So relax, get up on that dance floor and don’t worry about any stains under your arms!
There’s nothing scary about Bridal Tanning, what’s scary is considering using a sun bed! Not only are the risks horrendous, but you aren’t guaranteed a flawless, even look that’s tailored to suit you. If you still have any worries or questions about Bridal tanning or tanning in general, I’m happy to chat!
